Sulfera vs. Pimple Patches

Patches hide pimples. We erase them. Our triple-action formula treats the breakout at the root instead of just covering it up.

  Pimple Patches

Treats the pimple, not just the surface

Works on deep, sore bumps that never come to a head

Won't bleach your pillowcase

No dry, flaky patch the next morning

Fragrance-free and alcohol-free

Works on face, back, and chest

Acne Spot Corrector Gel Serum

Your Skin Isn't the Problem. Your Ingredients Are.

If every spot treatment you've tried left you with a dry, flaking patch where the pimple used to be, the problem isn't that your skin is difficult. It's that benzoyl peroxide treats a pimple by stripping everything around it — and hydrocolloid patches don't treat it at all.

Sulfur is the third option. It's an FDA-recognized OTC acne active that draws oil and bacteria out of the pore, and it does that without the burning, bleaching, and peeling. Same job. None of the collateral damage.

    Saw Results Overnight

Woke up and the redness was already down. Didn't dry my skin out like other spot treatments. Repurchasing.

    My go-to for surprise breakouts

Keep this in my bag now. One dot at the first sign of a pimple and it barely shows up the next day.

  • Pulls out the oil

Sulfur draws excess sebum out of the pore instead of sealing it in.

  • Calms the red

Brings down the swelling and the angry color, not just the bump.

  • Clears the bacteria

Targets the acne-causing bacteria doing the damage under the surface.

  • Won't wreck your barrier

No alcohol, no fragrance, no bleaching agents. Nothing that leaves you peeling.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast does it work?

Most people see a visible difference by morning. Apply a thick layer to a clean, dry spot before bed and leave it on overnight — sulfur needs time and contact to draw out the oil and bacteria under the surface. Bigger or deeper breakouts may take two or three nights. It is not a one-application miracle on a cyst, and any brand that tells you otherwise is overselling.

Will it bleach my pillowcase or towels?

No. Sulfur has no bleaching properties. The spot treatments that ruin your pillowcases and white t-shirts are the benzoyl peroxide ones — that's a BPO problem, not a sulfur problem.

Does it smell like sulfur?

There's a faint scent — sulfur is a natural mineral and it can't be completely deodorized without adding fragrance, which we don't do. It's mild, it fades as the layer dries, and it's gone by morning. If you've used an older drugstore sulfur ointment, this is nothing like that.

How is this different from a pimple patch?

A patch is a lid. It absorbs whatever has already come to the surface and protects the spot from your fingers — useful, but it does nothing to the oil and bacteria still building underneath. That's most of the breakout. Sulfur goes into the pore and works on the cause, which is why it also helps the deep, sore bumps that never come to a head — the ones patches are useless on.

Can I use it with my other actives?

Yes. Sulfur layers fine with salicylic acid, niacinamide, and retinoids. The one thing to watch is stacking it with benzoyl peroxide on the same spot on the same night — that combination is where people get dry and flaky. Alternate nights instead.

Can I use it on my back and chest?

Yes. Same method: clean, dry, thick layer, leave it on. For larger areas you'll go through the tube faster, which is what the multi-packs are for.
